Is turmeric safe?

Turmeric is generally considered safe. However, general recommendations are not use turmeric if you are taking blood thinning medication, such as warfarin, are pregnant or lactating. If in doubt, please consult your medical practitioner.

Supermarket bought turmeric is not organic and is not pre-blended with all of the extras required for it to be effective.
